Arsenal - E.A. Keeper Camp

Taught by the Lehi High School Boys/Girls

Keeper Trainer: Ethan Adams

July 12-14, 2010

1650 North 2650 West - Parkside Subdivision

 Ages 8yr-11yr     8:00am-11am*

12yr-14yr   12:00pm-3pm*

15yr-18yr    4:00pm-7pm*

*         Depending on how many kids sign up, the times are subject  to change

*         Kids will be grouped according to skill level

 Camp Details:

-      This camp will focus on the technical, tactical and physical aspects of youth goalkeeping.  The following skills will be taught: 

*Fundamentals of stopping/saving shots. (Handling, footwork and diving)

*Positioning

*Distribution

*Dealing with crosses (end-line crosses and crosses from deeper positions) 

*1v1 scenarios (positioning, technique and footwork) 

*Conditioning for youth goalkeepers (agility, flexibility, and coordination training) 

*Dealing with the pass-back

*Mental aspects of youth goalkeeping, (confidence, leadership and concentration)

Cost $65/ $75 for late registration –Make checks payable to: Ethan Adams

Full payment is required when the registration form is turned in on or before July 5th 2010.

Late registration is after July 5th 2010.  Preregister to guarantee your spot.

Check-in: Will begin 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time of first session at the field.

Additional Information:

Certified Athletic Trainer will be on hand for all sessions to provide any medical needs.

Water will be provided daily and light refreshments if needed.

All keepers will need to come prepared with a SOCCER BALL, proper attire, gloves, cleats, shin guards, sun screen (a must) and anything else needed to perform goal keeper activities.

Keeper Camp and any or all employees, sponsors, coaches/staff or members of the team/player participating in this camp/clinic.  I am aware that there is no insurance of any kind covering participants and that I will be covered by my own family insurance.  I am also aware that I am in good physical shape.  If I do have any underlying medical problems or recent injuries, I will check in with the Certified Athletic Trainers on duty and notify them of my circumstances prior to any play.  All participants must have parent’s signature.
