Arsenal has been asked to get the word out on the upcoming referee re-certification. Here's the information we received: -- We have two separate re-certification clinics scheduled in Utah County. Both clinics will be held in the cafeteria at Vineyard Elementary School at 620 E Holdaway Rd, Orem, UT. The entrance to the cafeteria is on the North East end of the building. The first clinic takes place on two consecutive evenings; February 17th and 18Th from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Participants will need to attend both evenings as instruction will be given both evenings and the test will be given on the second night. The second clinic will take place on March 6th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. There is no pre-registration or notification necessary to attend either clinic. Simply show up, participate in the instruction and take the test. Upon passing the test, participants will then register with USSF for the upcoming year. The following registration fees for the year will be required at that time. State Grade 5 & 6 - $55.00 Referee Grade 7 & 8 - $40.00 These Re-certification Clinics are only for those who have already certified in the past two years. If you cannot attend either of these two clinics, you need to attend any of the other Re-certification Clinics held throughout the State. If you have never certified or if the last year you were certified with USSF was 2007, you will need to attend an Entry Level Clinic to certify. We are just finishing up the only Entry Level Clinic that will be held in Utah County until August. You are, however, welcome and encouraged to participate in any Entry Level Clinic, offered throughout the State. A complete listing of scheduled clinics can be found at www.utahsoccerrefs.com. October 24, 2009. Orem, Utah: Arsenal SC '99 RL beat La Roca Premier 2-1 in an emotional final this morning to take the U11, 2009-2010 first ever Utah State Cup for Arsenal SC! Jason and Luis scored for Arsenal SC. Arsenal SC '99 RL has now won six of the seven tournaments in which it has participated since this Summer 2009, and it has been in all seven finals, to include this 2009-2010 U11 State Cup. Arsenal '99 RL might take a well deserved brake right now ... or it might participate in one or several invitational soccer tournaments in either Orange County, San Diego, and/or Texas. |

( Arsenal SC '99 RL players run towards their parents to celebrate their 2009 State Cup semi final victory over Rampage 5-1, which puts them in the final game this Saturday morninga against La Roca in Orem, Utah.) SC '99 RL beat Rampage 5-1 in the U11, 2009 Utah State Cup, soccer semi final game today in Orem, Utah in a very exciting game. Matt scored two goals, while Brandon, Luis and Jason each scored one goal for the Arsenal SC in today's game. We will be playing the final game, for the State Cup against La Roca this Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 10:30 am at the Lakeside Sports Complex in Orem, Utah. This will be the seventh consecutive final Arsenal '99 RL would play this season, having won 5 out of the 6 finals they have played so far. |
